Independence Day celebrations
On 10 and 11 November, 2008, the parking lot of Conference and Office Complex „Nowy ¦wiat” S.A. was changed into a garrison.
The visitors could see the equipment used by the Polish army and a special checkpoint, an exact copy of those in which Polish soldiers served in Iraq. There were also historical reconstruction groups, impersonating Polish armed forces from the period of regaining independence. There were many attractions to be seen, such as self-propelled gun Sexton or improvised armored car Kubu¶.
