Cinema KC already operating!
On 22nd July 2011 r. a new artistic KC Cinema will open in the historical movie theatre of the House of the Party. It is going to be a unique place in Warsaw. KC Cinema is to show not only films of great artistic value, but mostly interesting film and music projects as well as artistic presentations.
KC Cinema is meant as an alternative to all those who seek new forms of spending free time and as a proposition of original entertainment in the center of the city. One will be able to see the Theatre of Television spectacles, best Polish TV series, music clips premieres, and also meet the people of culture - writers, film makers, actors and musicians. Creators of the KC Cinema hope, that this small and air-conditioned movie theatre will come up to the expectations of audio-visual arts enthusiasts.
The program chapter is going to consists of people commtted to culture and visual arts. We already know that one of the program council members of the KC Cinema is Adam Bajerski - camera operator and author of such films as „Sztuczki” („Tricks”) and „Zmruż oczy” („Squint Your Eyes”).
KC Cinema will open on 22nd July and 8.30 pm with the screening of a film by Piotr Jaworski, entited „Kiedyś w Afryce” („Once Upon a Time in Africa”). It is a crazy story of an organization which wanted to make Poland a colonial superpower and of a sea voyage made by 8 courageous people who on the deck of Polish ship „Polonez”traveled to Liberia in order to make the dreams of Polish colonies in Africa come true.
